Sol Guadalupe

Came for my daughters 18th birthday, they were six of us 3 couples check in was good it was late at night , In my daughters room was a plater of cheese cakes and a happy birthday note. The next morning breakfast was good and was good all week Swimming pool was great plenty big enough with plenty of activities going on , one thing i noticed they didn't bug you to join in which was good . Sunbeds were taken early morning but where ever you get , you get the sun . We did find the side near the bar had more atmosphere as thats where the activities took place and you can hear the music better. But that's personal choice. The bar staff were friendly or you could go to the supermarket next to the gate near the kids pool which sold everything . The rooms were OK basic but everything you need . The beds could do with improving they were not comfortable but again it wouldn't stop me choosing this hotel again . The beach is across the road down a little street with shops and restaurants around it , the beach is lovely with plenty of water sports The ***** is 10 mins max to get to but bars all the way to it. We stayed a week and never heard any noise on a night time we were all on level 7 there was never any trouble day or night it was a mix of familys ,couples and groups On my daughters birthday they brought a bottle of champagne to her room. I really can't fault this hotel and I would return Not sure what time you can check in but check out isn't till 12 which was really good for us as we didn't leave till 6pm

We have just had a week here and I have to say it was beautiful. When I looked at the reviews on trip adviser I didn’t know if I’d made the right decision to stay here! Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I’m sure we all look for different things and have different expectations but there is something for everyone here. Highlights for me were ✅ hotel manager was very friendly, she introduced herself and was always around if we needed her. Very happy and approachable lady. ✅poolside activity - staff were so friendly and so much fun to take part or even just watch others taking part. ✅ cleanliness of the hotel - there was always somebody cleaning rooms or hotel toilets. ✅ breakfast selection - something for everyone and plenty for everyone. ✅poolside bar - lovely staff and nothings too much trouble ✅ reception - checking in and out was smooth process ✅ kids club - although we didn’t use it, it certainly looked like the kids were having so much fun and the staff who look after them are so friendly. ✅ sitting by the pool side late at night was so peaceful with the outside bar still available for drinks too. ✅ walking distance to lots of shops, bars, restaurants and food take aways. ✅ minutes walk to the beach ✅ hotel is suitable for all types of groups. Couples, families and even young groups (18-30’s). it was lovely to see the 18-30’s having such a good time and yes you could often hear people returning from a night out at 3am - 6am but in my opinion caused me no harm and we’ve all been young once. I was travelling for a few days away with my two young boys, aged 6 and 9. I am realistic and knew I was booking a hotel in Magaluf in the higher season, so expecting noise brought ear plugs which ensured 5 nights of solid sleep - no disturbance at all. The staff are very robust in dealing with poor guest behaviour (which appeared limited during my stay). The manager is very visible and carries our regular welfare checks with guests to ensure they are enjoying their stay - she deals with issues immediately and firmly. The room was clean, well equipped and spacious (even set up with a third bed) - plenty of space to access the balcony and saved me having to pay extra for a second room - really good option to have. Air conditioning was good and had all the necessary settings to ensure comfort. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and ate at various times - food was always hot and a good variety offered - quality was better than expected so clearly the previous review feedback has been acted upon. Pool area is clean, spacious and we always got sun-beds. The high point for us as a family was the kids club - Julia is a true credit to your hotel - the way she gets the kids engaged and included is fantastic. She arranges a vast array of activities and sensitively makes adjustments to the needs of the audience to ensure a great time is had by all. My youngest boy barely managed a 5m swim when we arrived, and by the fifth day was confident in swimming the full length of the pool, jumping in and participating in all the poolside activities. The lifeguards are strict, but given the clientele (larger younger groups) in high season they need to be - they keep the pool safe and ensure it can be enjoyed safely by all age groups. It never felt dangerous. From what I saw, guests were well behaved and just wanted to have a bit of fun. Many of the younger groups were great with my kids and engaged with them. My only very small gripe was reception - I explained the evening before we left that I had to leave for the airport at 07:45 and asked if a croissant and banana could be available for each child as the buffet didn’t open until 8am - I was told no, I asked if it would be ok to nip into the buffet and grab these items myself, I was again told no - this was my mistake for asking and trying to do the correct thing. As things happened the restaurant was open early and I popped in, explained the situation to the lady clearing the plates and she said yes of course I can do this as it’s for the children and she understood we had a long journey and kids need something in their tummy. She was lovely. I understand the rules and respect them, but sometimes a small amount of sensible flex should be exercised - I wasn’t asking to fill a carrier bag with food, just a tiny snack for each child in lieu of a sit down breakfast. This did not detract from an excellent stay and we look forward to returning in two weeks time for another short stay. All in all, excellent and highly rec

Lovely hotel, pool is beautiful perfect couldn’t ask for any better , rooms are modern and clean, brilliant stay didn’t want to come home, returning again July 2024 with friends cannot wait, we stayed half board the pasta was delicious highly recommend trying !!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Sol Guadalupe, after arriving late at about 4am, we were quickly checked in and offered a choice of floors we wanted which we appreciated. We ended up with a sea view on the 9th floor. Breakfast was fantastic. There were plenty of options, including hot options, an omelette station, fresh pancakes and pastries, as well as meats and cheeses and fresh fruit, we honestly could not fault it, there was so much choice and it was all delicious. Pool area was big enough and plenty of sun beds, we were there around 9:30 each morning and had no issues getting a bed. Drinks at the pool bar available were reasonable prices and staff were really nice. Frozen cocktails were amazing! A couple of times we were greeted by hotel staff walking around the poolside, asking if we were enjoying our holiday, and letting us know to reach out if we had any issues. Air con in the room was freezing, which we saw as an advantage, as we just blasted it and then turned it off once the room was cold enough. Location of the hotel was really good, walking distance to the beach, and the main areas surrounding, plenty of options for bars and restaurants all within around 10 minutes walk. Supermarket just across from the front door as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here!

The experience from start to finish was what you would want from a beautiful holiday destination like Majorca (any hiccups are naturally going to happen, but the way the team and management conducted themselves to reach a resolution is nothing short of exemplary). From the reception team, to the bar, restaurant and cleaning staff, everything was on point. Genuine people with genuine care and willingness to go above and beyond. Me and my wife couldn’t be more appreciative of how the team made us feel part of the “familia” with the true meaning of the word. It’s especially people like Stijn, Pedro, Diego and Vegas who made that happen and gave us this incredible feeling (much love to you all, thank you for the pain in our training sessions and the madness of the water carpet). A two week holiday that felt like a two month holiday with how much we got to do and see. Aqua gym classes, yoga, tabata, water polo, table tennis, darts, pool and even spectacular evening shows (I can finally say I witnessed someone good enough to replicate Michael Jackson, the Samba was muy caliente and the bubble show was popping). A final word of appreciation to the manager, Alejandra, thank you, your organisation should use you and your team as a prime example of how things should be done and done for the better of a customer experience.

Amazing experience good food entertainment program excellent for all ages with fun pool gym classes everyday as well as night shows. All staff very friendly especially the entertainment guys. The only down side would be that the WiFi connection wasn’t great in my room. Thank you from Antonio and Sofia for making our holiday more special

Absolutely fabulous hotel,staff were all lovely from checking in to checking out Asked us if we wanted any special requirements so went for pool and sea view,king size bed, high up for the views..no problem The food is wide and varied I can't understand people who said they couldn't find anything to their liking..every single meal we had was full of flavour,top quality from the carved meat of the day to the fish,the bbq grill,tepanyaki station,salad bar,desserts,cheese selection..faultless Lovely and clean,maids came every day Wanted a coffee due to early start on the last morning just had a word at reception and they opened the restaurant for us Definitely a 5***** from us

stayed here for years and have to say this was probably the worst stay ever,, bed was uncomfortable,,, bathroom stank terrible had to remind house keeping to put bleach down drain everyday,,(which they did) only a few english channels on tv maybe 2-3... hotel is clean but getting dated and could do with a refurb,,,had asked hotel to stay on short corridor but was put right at the end of long corridor,,,had a lot of creepy crawlies in room,,
